This is due to the fact that Carrión de los Condes is an important way point on the "Camino de Santiago's French Route" to Santiago de Compostela and you can see lots of pilgrims from different countries. It was known by the Romans as Lacobriga, and now you can see the amazing religious exhibition "Las edades del hombre" and enjoy the town.
