Lycée Sainte Marie is a French high school located in the city of Caen, Normandy. The region is known for its historical past including, amongst others, D-Day landing. Numerous tourist attractions as well as UNESCO world heritage sites can be visited. Our high school welcomes up to 900 students aged 15 to 18 (Year 11 to 13). Some of them are part of advanced learner groups which provide them with two extra hours of English per week including a B2 certificate preparation session as well as a non linguistic subject class (science or mathematics or history-geography). French educational programme states Year 13 students should all reach B2 level at the end of high school. Thus, interacting with foreign students is an opportunity for them to improve their communication ability. Let's connect!
