Founded in 2006, Çiçeklidede Özel İdare Secondary School exists in Biga, Çanakkale in Turkey. Our students are between 9-14. We have 15 classes, 2 kindergartens and 1 class for special needs pupils. There are approximately 400 pupils, 15 of them are special needs students. Children have a variety of abilities and talents and our teachers are concerned that each child, whether slow to learn, average ability, is encouraged to extend his/her capabilities. Because of this; a library, science labs, counselor’s room, and volleyball-basketball areas are ready for students’ usage. Besides the features of our school, Çanakkale province has so many historical and natural sites that students and we can organize school trips in order to learn our historical background. We value respect for individual, encouraging full participation of children, teacher and parents. For us, it is so important to be one, unique with three buttresses (pupil+teachers+parents) every teacher is concerned with academic, social development of each child. We also give regular info to parents about these issues.
